WaterJet Closed Loop Filtration System

The Ebbco Closed Loop Filtration System is designed to filter and recycle waterjet overflow water for reuse. This system can support single or multiple heads on any waterjet table. By implementing the Ebbco Closed Loop System, you can eliminate the need for draining, reduce water consumption, minimize costs for treated water (such as RO units or water softeners), lower machine maintenance, and optimize performance. Most importantly, the system protects your high-pressure pump by consistently supplying water that meets the manufacturer's specified quality standards.

Water from the waterjet table overflows into a settling weir where sludge is separated before entering the filtration system. The water then flows into the dirty side of the stainless-steel reservoir. The filter pump sends the water through a stainless-steel bag vessel with a 1-micron filter bag, followed by an Ebbco Hurricane Filter Vessel with a 0.35-micron filter cartridge. Clean water is then passed through a chiller or heat exchanger to remove heat from the machining process. If necessary, water enters the stainless-steel DI resin vessel, which uses a specialized resin blend designed for waterjet applications to remove dissolved solids, maintaining the manufacturer’s specified water quality. Finally, the treated water enters the clean side of the reservoir. An ozone generator inside the clean tank helps control bacteria. Clean, treated water is then pumped through a 0.35-micron final filter to the high-pressure pump.
