Sludge Remover System

The Ebbco Glass Sludge Removal Systems are fully pre-packaged filtration solutions designed to effectively filter glass particulates down to 25 microns. These systems collect glass particles into an easy-to-service sludge bag capable of holding up to 25 lbs of sludge. Customizable to fit any grinder, seamer, or other glassworking machinery, they enhance coolant life, extend tool life, and reduce wear and tear on equipment.

The system arrives ready for installation and operates independently of the existing system flow. Contaminated coolant or liquid enters through a filter strainer basket to protect the pump from large debris. The fluid is then pumped tangentially into the separator, creating a circular flow. Specially engineered slots accelerate the fluid into the separation chamber, where centrifugal action forces heavier particles to the chamber’s perimeter. The solids gently fall into the collection chamber and are continuously purged into the sludge receiver. Clean fluid is drawn through the separator’s vortex, and particle-free liquid is returned to the system’s customized sweeper package, designed to keep the tank free of settled sludge.
