Water Flow Process: Dirty water flows into the floor flumes and is carried by gravity into the pit. If water flow is available, an optional setup can line the flumes with PVC and Eductors to prevent debris from settling and direct it towards the pit.
Lobster Pot: A Lobster Pot Flume Screen is positioned where the flume enters the pit. This screen is designed to capture larger debris, offering pump protection.
Pit Pump: The Pit Pump, mounted on heavy-duty I-beams, pumps the water from the pit to the Cyclone Filtration System.
Cyclone Filtration System: Water from the pit flows into a centrifugal separator, where solids are filtered down to 40 microns. Larger solids are collected in a Hopper Bag (5c). Clean fluid then flows in two directions: to the Pit Sweeper Package (5b) and the Hydrocyclones (5a). Optional: Sidewinder Filtration System.
Hydrocyclones: A portion of the clean water from the LAKOS Separator enters a series of Hydrocyclones, where it is further filtered to around 10 microns. Solids are purged into the Hopper Bag (5c), and the clean fluid is sent to the Holding Tank (7).
Pit Sweeper Package: A custom-fit PVC sweeper package lines the floor of the pit, keeping particles suspended and moving them toward the pump suction for removal.
Sludge Hopper: The Sludge Hopper, equipped with a removable bag and four lifting straps, collects sludge from both the Separator and Hydrocyclones.
Settling Weir: An over-under settling weir system with a removable bag captures overflow from the Sludge Hopper, further removing fine solids before returning the overflow water to the pit via the floor flume.
Conical/Clarifier Holding Tank: A 2600-gallon conical tank stores 10-micron or finer gray water. The tank allows fine particles to settle at the cone's bottom. This process can be enhanced by adding the "Wizard" Coagulant System (O1). The tank can be manually blown down or equipped with an optional "Auto Blow Down" (O2) valve.
Gray Water Delivery Pump: A heavy-duty horizontal pump delivers the gray water from the holding tank to the process at the required flow and pressure.
Hurricane Polishing Filter: For applications requiring "Crystal Clear Water," a Hurricane Polishing Unit can be added at the point of use to filter the water down to 1 micron.
System Options:
Ozone Generator: Mounted on the holding tank frame, this ozone generator, with an ozone dispersion stone, eliminates bacteria, algae, and odors.
“Wizard” Coagulant System: A horizontal pump mounted to the Cyclone Filter Unit delivers gray water to the process as needed.
Auto Purge Option: An automatic ball valve removes the settled-out fluff from the holding tank every two hours.
Auto Purge Hopper: An additional sludge hopper is included with the Auto Purge Option to collect the fluff, with water entering through an engineered diffuser for efficient flow.
