EK-2000 – PIB Extruder

The EK-2000 PIB Extruder is designed for precise butyl application on spacer frames ranging from 6 mm to 25 mm in width. The adjustable nozzles ensure uniform and consistent sealing, while the entire process is pneumatically operated and managed by a PLC system that controls the temperature of the butyl heaters. A built-in timer allows for preheating the butyl before operation begins, ensuring smooth startup.

The system features height adjustment to accommodate different frame sizes, and nozzle width is controlled via a combined pneumatic and hydraulic parallel mechanism. The conveyor speed offers five adjustable settings, and both the butyl application length and production quantity can be monitored and controlled through a touchscreen interface.
